Compatibility issues with pfcc-extras v0.7.1 and ase 3.23

pfcc-extras version 0.7.1 is not compatible with the latest ase 3.23. If you are using pfcc-extras, please use ase 3.22.

This issue will be addressed in the upcoming pfcc-extras version 0.8.0 by fixing the requirement to ase 3.22.

 

If pfcc-extras suddenly becomes unusable:

Please check the versions, and if you are using pfcc-extras v0.7.1 and ase 3.23, pfcc-extras is no longer available due to this compatibility issue.

Please downgrade the version of ase 3.23 to ase 3.22.1 using the following steps:

how to downgrade ase：

1. Downgrade to ase 3.22.1
   
   • In Notebook
     

     !pip install ase==3.22.1

   • In Terminal 

     pip install ase==3.22.1

     
     
     
2.  Restart the kernel
